The Iron Bench.

This project was donated to a local school in memory of a dedicated teacher. Made out of Ipe, a Brazilian hardwood, dense as rock (not really), genuinely rich in grain and measuring approx. 60 inches by 23 inches by 18 inches. This bench was designed and constructed to withstand any imaginable force and use.

Weighing in at approx. 250 pounds, today it sits in the school’s entrance as a salute to all teachers and a reminder to all students how resilient, strong and resolute teachers are.
